Will windows 7 work on a PowerEdge T110 ii? Network Drivers?
I searched on the forum search but could not find a clear answer.
Will Windows 7 64bit work a Poweredge T110 ii? with harddrives that are mirrored, and the network drivers? I plan on buying a brand new T110 ii, but I looked at the drivers support and did not find Windows 7 on that list, only server 2008 and others. Please advise. I want a server grade system for reliability, but with a client OS.

I used the Dell System Build and Update Utility to install Win7 on my PE T610. From the System Build disk, i selected Win Server 2008 R2 as the OS to install. I believe this creates an install environment with appropriate drivers for your hardware. After a restart, the System Build environment asks you to insert the OS install disk in which case i insert my Win7 install disk. The process then continues as any normal win7 install process. No need to load drivers, etc as this has already been done by the build utility.
Do note that some management features will not work without effort. OMSA for example needs some server OS functions to operate so will not run easily on a desktop based system. It then makes it harder to administer your machine from within windows.

Client OS's (XP, Vista, 7) are not supported on any Dell servers. That doesn't mean it won't work, but it means it may not work - or certain devices may not work.
You have two options when installing drivers ... use 2008 R2 drivers or get drivers from the various manufacturers' websites.
If you want server-class hardware that supports a client OS, consider a Precision workstation. They can be rackmounted and configured with dual Xeon processors, 192GB of RAM, RAID, etc. ... and they have drivers for client OS's.
Why did you want a server for Windows 7?
What RAID controller did you order it with?

If attempting to install Windows 7, be sure to use the 2008 R2 drivers, as they will be a better match for Windows 7 drivers than 2008 (Vista), although they may work too in the absence of an R2 driver.

Johnychu,
The T110 doesn't support using Windows 7, as it is a workstation OS and isn't designed to work on server hardware. This doesn't mean it won't install, it just isn't a supported OS.
What you can try to do is Windows 2008 Server drivers, as Windows 7 and 2008 both share the same kernel.
