Windows 2003 Server Rebooting

I have a Power Edge 2850 Server and I upgraded from Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2003 Server (Standard). The OS appeared to be installing with no problem. The OS finished installing and then rebooted.  Unfortunately, it is continually rebooting when it gets to the Windows 2003 Screen - it should go to the login screen and then to the desktop but instead it reboots again.

The messages rebooting look normal.  The only message that might be considered not normal would be: LSI Logic Corp. MPT boot ROM, no supported devices found!

Could any one help me out for the same.

That message that you're getting is from the scsi controller on the motherboard reporting that there are no harddrives connected to it that it can boot to. This is expected, as you're probably booting to a Perc, so the drives are connected to the perc and not the scsi card (scsi card can be used for the harddrives if opting not to purchase the perc option or for tape devices).

You can try booting to safe mode. If that doesn't work, try a logged boot, and after the reboot, boot to the recovery console and look at the bootlog. It's likely that a driver or application that was installed in Windows 2000 isn't working for Windows 2003 and is causing it to blue screen (and the default recovery option for 2003 is to reboot on a fault to get the server back up, and you can't disable that unless you can get to the desktop, so you're stuck on that).

You may end up having to install Windows 2003 'clean' from CD.
