megamon errors on PE 6650 w/ Perc 3QC
We have a PowerEdge 6650 with a Perc 3/QC raid controller running RedHat 2.1 AS (Update 5). It is configured as a raid 10 with a hot spare. We are getting the following error message from megamon (v. 4.0.0a) after a reboot:

Adapter 0: Battery Temperature GOOD.
Adapter 0: Battery Voltage GOOD.
Adapter 0: No of Charge Cycles = 0
Adapter 0,Channel 255,Target 5: is going to FAIL.
Adapter 0,Channel 255,Target 1: is going to FAIL.
Adapter 0,Channel 255,Target 4: is going to FAIL
Because there are no disks on Channel 255, only channles 0 & 1, I don't believe this is a real error. Am I correct, and why are these messages being generated?
