Solaris Cluster with PowerPath and LDOM configuration

Hi Peter,

PowerPath does not support guest-domains, it will not recognize the virtual disks present in the guest-domains. PowerPath works best only when it has access to the physical devices. Hence, the only supported configuration at the moment is PowerPath on the I/O or Control domain.

Hi Saty,

There are two questions here.

1. Is PowerPath supported with ZFS? The answer is yes (from S11 onwards).

2. Can PowerPath be installed in control domain ? Yes, it can be.

I need your help..

We have a solaris 10 update11 OS(Native multipathing)  with LDOM in sun cluster. It is possible to install  EMC powerptah,if yes the what is the procedure.

Becauseafter  installing power path we are facing problem with did no and because of that we can not bring Metaset up  under Sun cluster.
