Combine free capacity from different Disk Group
Hi,
I have Dell PowerVault MD 3000i. I have free capacity available from two different disk groups. Both disk groups are having the same RAID level. Is it possible to combine the free capacity from these two groups?

No, this isn't an option. Your only choice is to make them 2 different virtual disks.
In the OS you may then be able to combine them, but this typically has some drawbacks in regards to performance and reliability.
