Could we run or install IIS web server,SQL Server with NX440 and storage server 2016 standard edition
Hi,
I have some question about Windows Storage Server 2016 Standard Edition,
We are using Dell NX440 Windows Storage Server 2016.
My question : This Windows Storage Server 2016 standard edition can support below services
-Web server IIS Services? (if supported may i know which version it supported?)
-sql server community Services.

Dear Sir
windows storage server 2016 base on window server 2016 from,https://www.buffalotech.com/resources/microsoft-windows-storage-server-2016-NETWORK-ATTACHED-STORAGE.
I need to run sql for database software on wss 2016 and
I also need to run IIS web service from used database software remote side.
Note: Can i change wss os to windows server 2016 [ NX440 appliance is support or not)
how many core license i need?

Hello Thura,
The NX440 supports Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2016 Standard Edition and Workgroup Edition.
It has not been validated by Dell to also run SQL Server or IIS Web Server. If you want to try deploy non-supported roles you can check the Microsoft site.
Note: This Microsoft page does not show that SQL can be installed on Windows Storage Server OS.

Hello Thura Aung,
The NX440 is based on the R340 server and supports Windows Server 2016.
It should have a 4 core processor, but please verify your configuration, and license Windows Server accordingly.
