H810 JBOD and boot issue

Hello i have two issues with our H810

First, i would like to use it in JBOD mode, multiple official documents calims it has this possibility. Trough perccli show all command i can see:

Enable JBOD = No

also via command to allow JBOD i get

root@debian:~# perccli /c0 set jbod=on
Controller = 0
Status = Failure
Description = None

Detailed Status :
===============

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Ctrl Status Ctrl_Prop Value ErrMsg                           ErrCd
-------------------------------------------------------------------
   0 Failed           -     Controller does not support JBOD   255

-------------------------------------------------------------------

root@debian:~# perccli /c0/e91/s20 set jbod
Controller = 0
Status = Failure
Description = Set Drive JBOD Failed.

Detailed Status :
===============

-------------------------------------------------
Drive       Status  ErrCd ErrMsg
-------------------------------------------------
/c0/e91/s20 Failure   255 Operation not allowed.
-------------------------------------------------

So it does not suppor JBOD at all am i right? I googled a lot for this definitive answer and i want to be sure before i say i to my boss.

Second:

We use this H810 in Supermicro server and i cant get Ctrl + R option during boot, so i cant get to PERC menu. Is there any other way how to get to PERC GUI or mabye some hint how to fix this?

Thank you

Hi,

It does not have a drive passthrough jbod mode. The closest it does is single drive raid 0. We have not validated it on non Dell servers.
