MD3000 Oracle RAC & Linux support
Hi Everyone,
Currently I'm looking for a way to build a RHEL Linux Oracle setup. The "normal" way to do this is to connect two servers to a shared storage and use Oracle RAC. Dell currently has the new MD3000 unit for this, but they only support clustering with Windows. They don't support Linux clustering.
Does anyone have any experience with this setup? Is the Linux OS important for clustering or is it the Oracle RAC that does all the work?
Any feedback from people who have the MD3000 running with Linux would be helpful.
Regards,
Dennis.
