MD3000i Factory Reset ?

Hi,

I inherited an MD3000i with an existing config and I have added some more drives and am moving it to another location. I would like to wipe out all existing config and start over from factory fresh default settings. I do not have the console cable that is associated with this but I am able to access the GUI. Could someone let me know the best way to go about this?

Thanks in adavnce!

I think there's a CLI command to reset the config, but why not delete all virtual disks, remove all registered hosts, and set the iSCSI IP addresses back to default:

0-0: 192.168.130.101

0-1: 192.168.131.101

1-0: 192.168.130.102

1-1: 192.168.131.102

Depending on the config,  that could be quite lengthy to do all that.    But I actually don't think there is a way to even do what I think he wants.     Any reset would probably error on any left on there virtual disk host ownership.

A full reset where the drives are cleared is unduely difficult via the reset cable.  I have only wittnessed it once by a Dell tech.
