ML6000 series issues?
I am looking to replace 3 - 132T's with 1 - ML6000 series library in a fiber channel SAN. Does anyone have any advice or experience setting this up and working with it?
Thanks.

I haven't had direct dealings yet, i'm installing one tomorrow. But as a break/fix guy for Dell this library looks good. Has advanced firmware with self diagnosing propertities and can email when a fault is detected. The picker assembly has been updated and is more resilient than the 136T. It is expandable so can hold loads of tapes and drive. Native fibre to the drives is really easy to set up and takes minutes, no mucking about with the SNC/bridge. The best bit for me, all the assemblies are fast fit, so i don't need to carry and vast array of tools.
Adic say they've sold 2000 of these in the first 5 months:http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=72269&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=845615&highlight=

If the 132t's are in the same location then you ccould probably work with one control module with 2x lto native fibre and one expansion module with 1x lto native fibre. Plus 3x sc to lc fibre cables. That would give you a max of 128 slots to play with.
You have a 1gb SAN and the lto drives can be set to auto, 1 or 2gb. So there is no reason why you couldn't use your existing equipment.

Sorry for the delay in responding, very busy here.
Thanks for the link. I set up my current system that includes a couple PV51F's and one PV 56F connected via fiber channel to 3 offsite PV 132T's. The servers connect to the switches via ql2200 hba's.
I would like to replace that setup with a fully loaded ML6020, keeping everything as simple as possible. What equipment (switches, different hba's for each server, etc) would I need to accomplish that? I am just looking for an overview.
Thanks!
