Not seeing tape in Backup-exec MD1000
Any help please - Set thie MD1000 with more or less default settings - all looks OK but when I populate the drive bay with tapes and then open Backup-Exec and do a SCAN or INVENTORY on the Library drive SLOTS the Backup-Exec runs but fails to see any media in the drive..
Any pointers please

Not quite sure which tape library you're talking about, a MD1000 is a disk array. However, have you put the barcode labels on the tapes.

Big thanks for the reply and a bigger one fo rmy mistake - The tape store is a ML6000 and the Drive store is a MD1000 all controlled by a Powervault 1950
I have just added a barcode to a tape.
