PowerVault NX3200 automatically restarting every 14 days.

Question

We have a PowerVault NX 3200 used as our file server for our office.  Every 14 days like clockwork, the server shuts down and restarts.  At first this was just a minor nuisance, but now it is starting to interfere with our day to day operations.  This started on December 2nd 2016.  Going through the logs in the open manage software has yielded little help, other than showing us that it is exactly every 14 days.  As of the start of this month, it shows our PERC battery as failed for 65 seconds after startup, and then reports that it is operating normally.  Any ideas as to what might be causing this restart, and failure of the PERC battery?  Where should I start looking?

What OS are you running? If it is doing it at the same time every week it may be software related and not hardware. The PERC battery should not be causing a reboot if it fails. Are there any events in the event log?

I would try turning off auto restart on failure in windows and see if that gives an error message as to what is causing it.

I will disable that setting, and check the logs next time it is 'due' to restart.  It seems to be doing it almost on a set schedule of every 14 days at the same time of day.  Thank you for your help.  I will update the post once I have more information.

It is running windows server 2012.  It only shows an OS boot and the PERC event on startup, no graceful shut down event.  When we lose our connection to the server, I have gone to our server room, and have witnessed the reboot.  The PERC battery is a new event that is occurring on said reboot.  Is there a software setting that we can adjust to stop this from happening, or change to happen on a weekend when it will not affect the office?
