First we need to get more information on your current setup. We need to know the following: OS type, Backup software, Current version of firmware on TL2000 for both the library & the drives, Drivers installed for TL2000, SAS or Fibre connected, Backup job size?
In getting this information will help us determine what your issue that you are having is.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
2) Backup SW: Symantec Backup Exec TM 2014 Version 14.1
3) Firmware Current Version: C.00 / 3.20e
4) Drivers installed: There are two drivers as seen below in config informations
5) Job sizes: Most of them are long size jobs, which means that the bigger one have more than 3.7 TB (Full Backup Job) and the smaller around 1 GB.
Although, we have much more than those jobs. There are a bunch of Jobs organized in Full - Incremental Sets, for each machine we have installed in our datacenter. We may have more than 30 Virtual Servers in our Virtual VCenter Datacenter.
Please, consider a medium environment with 2 critical machines (AD DC), 2 machines dedicated for Exchange Mail Services as well as others serving lots of services provided by our IT unit.
Sam, please let me know if the information provided is enough to figure out the scenary and gather your analisys. Thanks a lot
