Resetting RMU admin password to default

Question

Can someone please tell me how you reset the admin password back to it's default which of course is password. I went in and changed the password and of course I had to re-logon after the change and now it will not take the new password. By the way, is that a maximum password size? I've attempted to reset the rmu password as described. It didn't work.

When you change the sign on string, the display prompts that it mush reboot in order to make the change.
When it completes the reboot, should you then power cycle the library manually (flipping the switch in the back)?

The instructions were taken directly from the autoloader manual.    Power cycle the unit from the back. Remember, you will need to reboot twice.
