Setting Up MD1000
I know i can use Server Manager to configure the Raid, but how to i setup the web interface?
Do i use Modular Disk Storage Manager Cleint?

Hello CCMH,
For an MD1000 you will use Open Manage server administrator. There is no web interface with an MD1000. You get the web interface & MDSM client on an MD3xxx system.

Then what is the network card for on the MD1000?

Hello CCMH,
On the MD100 there isn’t any network card/ ports on the system. Only on our MD3xxx systems are there network cards/ ports. Is this MD1000 hanging off a MD3000 by chance? Or is it direct connected to a server?

Hello CCMH,
The PS/2 port is used to pull a report from the MD in the event that open manage can’t connect to the MD1000. That is only to be used in the event that we need to watch the boot up on the MD. Other than that the port is not used except in the factory to setup the controllers.

Yep. it is PS2 port.
