TL2000\TL4000 Drive Upgrade
Hi
I'm Have TL2000 Library with LTO6 Drive
I purchase a new LTO7 Drive and replace the Drive in the Library (Using the Same sled)
Update Library Firmare (E.30) and the Drive Firmware (G9Q1)
refresh Logical Libraries & Drives but still cant get the LTO7 to Work
I can see In Drive Identity Menu the old Drive Type and SN
How do i make the Library Work With the New Drive?

you can try going to "Configure Library: Logical Library" and updating it, or try rebooting the library unless you did or reset library to default as a last resort.

Was the LTO7 the correct part number for the TL2000? if not the drive itself may not be configured for a TL2000.

im not sure what P/N is needed for a TL2000 LTO7 SAS/FC but if it came with a facia then its probably a standalone drive and not a loader drive. the firmware should be around G9Q1 for a TL2000.
