What SCSI controller is the autoloader attached to?

Do you have the H/D in a RAID config. If so the integrated controller is a  RAID controller and the 1750 doesn't support mixed mode RAID/SCSI.

Not sure I follow the driver question. PVTools should work with the 122T. Dell Diagnostics is another tool that will work with the autoloader.

The Server is a new Poweredge 1750 (service tag 2rcdr51). I am connected to the integrated, external SCSI controller (top port) and the terminator is on the bottom. The terminator green light is illimined so I assume it is connected correctly.

Does Dell make any tools to evaluate an 122T LTO-2 without using another vendors drivers?

Got it! Some how during the rack assembly my eyes missed the PCI SCSI controller installed in the extra slot and only saw the integrated SCSI connector.

Thanks for the help!

Yes, there are two 36 GB hard disks in Raid 1 formation as one mirrored drive. Does this mean that the external SCSI connector is useless when the SCSI drives are in Raid 1 or 5?

That is your BSOD problem. Tape cannot be run on a RAID controller. You will need to move the autoloader to a SCSI controller.
