iSCSI Target Application Pack for WSS 2003 R2 - available?

Hi all,   We've been interested in presenting some of the abundant storage in our WSS 2003 R2 box to other applications like Exchange or VMWare. I saw HP has an application pack (provided by MS) for Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 to enable their NAS as an iSCSI Target. Does Dell have something similar? If not, will other software iSCSI targets provide similar performance?   Thanks, Joel

The only Windows based iSCSI target offering I've seen from Dell is the NX1950. This can use either an MD3000 or a Dell|EMC SAN for storage.

The NX1950 runs the latest flavour of 2003 server called Unified Storage server. This has iscsi support built in.   You can try a 3rd party iscsi target called Starwind, you can get a trial version from their site: http://www.rocketdivision.com/   I have played with this and created iscsi storage on my desktop
