Being you can ping the array just fine but are not able to access the management software. I would recommend the quickest fix may be to uninstall the MDSM software and install the latest and greatest version. Do you know what the firmware version is currently at? Below is the link for the latest MDSM software.
Ok, then lets go ahead and start by uninstalling and reinstalling the MDSM software. If after doing that if you still do not have access to the array I would advise to call into the que to get a support ticket opened to get this resolved for you. Let me know if I can do anything else for you.

it says unable to communicate with storage array and initialize its array mgmt software.
