Precision 7820 VROC error

I am getting this power led error >  4 amber 6 white led blinks on the PS button.

I then go under Device Configuration on boot up and see this error.

Intel(r) VROC with VMD Technology 5.5.0.1028     Failed

I don't even have a vroc key installed on this system so why would I be getting this error on my nvme drive?

I am not positive but I think this started after the recent BIOS update.

Well I backed down to BIOS Update 1.7.1 and it fixed that problem.

Now I need to figure out why I boot slow even with a Nvme drive. My laptop has faster boot speeds.

I ran a test and I get around 3200 reads so no idea why boot takes so long on windows or linux.

Thanks for that - I was experiencing exactly the same with 3 new T5820, also with nvme drives in the front. BIOS was recently updated to 1.9.0

They just updated the BIOS to fix this error.

Just a heads up if you need it.
