Slimline optical for the T5810

I'm seeing several slimline optical drives sold by Dell or by other sellers, but didn't see any that were for the T5810.

Questions:
1. What was the part number of the original DVD +/- RW drive that came with the T5810?
2. Can I use a drive that's for a different machine, like for the T7820, for example?
3. Is there anything special about these slimline drives, or the fitment into various models because I see quite a few models.
