5530 number of external displays
How many external displays can the 5530 /w Quadro P1000 actually output?
I have a 5530 with the P1000 option and UHD screen, and it's currently connected to external displays via the WD15 dock.
So far:
- 3 displays to WD15 (hdmi/vga/dp):
- laptop screen off: 2x 1080p, 1x 640x480
- 2 displays to WD15 (vga/dp), 1 display to 5530 (hdmi):
- laptop screen off: 3x 1080p
Is it even possible to power more than 3 total displays with the 5530 (even with a different dock)? It seems like a huge waste of the discrete graphics option.

Good question.
As many as @accoleon tells us ?
There is this, but I think it has to use a dedicated DisplayPort on a dedicated card.

Hello
Same problem here:
Monitor N.1 + N.2 runs perfectly at 2550x1440 @ 144Hz via the two inbuilt DisplayPorts by WD19TB
But Monitor N.3 connected via inbuilt HDMI port by WD19TB but it runs only at 1920x1080 @ 59Hz !
I tried everything but N.3 can not set at 2550x1440 @ 144Hz via HDMI
What can I do?

Did you ever work out if this was a limitation? I'm worried that I'll hit a wall when upgrading to a 1920x1200 screen; currently I'm feeding a 1920x1080 screen via HDMI in addition to two 4k screens (1 external, 1 built in)

It's possible to run:
- 1 x 4k (built in laptop screen @ 60hz)
- 1 x 4k (external running full resolution @ 60hz) connected via TB/USB-C
- 1 x 1920x1080p external screen connected via HDMI
Hoping to upgrade this 1920x1080 to a 1920x1200 screen tomorrow or the day after and have it work @ 60hz
I'm running a M5530 Precision:
GPU: P1000 / Intel UHD
CPU: Xeon E-2176M
Storage: 1TB (2 x 512GB SSD)
RAM: 32GB
