TB16 dock and extension thunderbolt cable

Hello,

I have precision 5530 which is connected to TB16 dock and noise of fan of workstation drives me nuts. I want to move workstation futher away from me by extending thunderbolt connection from dock. Is it possible to buy off the shelf Thunderbolt 3 female-male adapter to do that?
