3100cn rebadge

I have read that the 3100cn is a rebadge of the xerox FX Docuprint C525A. Anyone know if this was a true post I read in another forum?

Dell tells me it's actually a Lexmark with a different cover and some internal changes.

Most if not all Dell inkjets are rebadged Lexmarks. Whoever at Dell said ANY of their color laser printers are rebadged Lexmarks is as clueless as, well, anyone at Dell I've have the misfortune to waste my time talking to in the last year. The 3000/3100cn family are rebadged Fuji-Xerox products made in Japan... btw Fuji-Xerox is PARTIALLY owned by Xerox (a joint venture), but is not the same as Xerox in the US, and should not be confused for meaning those printers are "Xerox" printers, in that, afaik.. Xerox is not importing or marketing those particular models in N. America.
