968w Printer Will NOT uninstall. Try to remove it from remove programs, it says it's removed, reboot, go back and it is still there
HELP, None of the posts solve this issue.
I go to remove programs to remove my 968w printer software and drivers. It says they are removed and I must reboot. I reboot and go back to uninstall programs and it is still there. I do it over and over and it is still their. I go to remover printers and it is not there. When I try to renistall the printer it doesn't work. I have a Windows 7 PC.

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print job in the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Start, control panel. programs and features, Dell 968w Printer, uninstall.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer is removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7 32-bit or the Vista 64-bit drivers for Windows 7 64-bit. Install the Vista drivers in the Vista Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on).
