All In One 962 Printer Feeder Problem
When I use the feeder for copying or faxing, there is a vertical black line on the resulting copy or a vertical black line on the received fax. There is no problem if I use the glass for copying. I have researched cleaning, troubleshooting, and have no results. Any help?

mag446,
When using the ADF, The scanner bulb light up and stays in the same location, the spot closest to where the paper leaves the document feeded. Clean the glass with a lint free cloth, like a coffee filter.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I did clean the glass, under the lid, lifted the "hood" and cleaned the rollers, and anything else I could see. I used Qtips to clean in tight places and it still produces the line. Any other suggestions? By the way, never thought of the coffee filter for cleaning. I use alcohol wipes.

mag446,
I suggested a coffee filter because they recommend a lint free cloth and a coffee filter is lint free and usually very cheap, since most people have them around.
Look at THIS ARTICLE before it gets removed.
