Dell 2330dn and 2335DN Network driver issues
I have a print server running server 2003 and another one (going to replace the server 2003 one) running server 2008 R2. Whenever a non-admin user is logged into their computer, they can add the printers, but cannot print to them. I have no problem with the 5330dn that is installed on the print servers. It gives me an error that says when I try to go to properties of the printers when added to the computers:
I have tried different drivers and upgraded the firmware on the printers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Has anyone found a solution yet??
We have exactly the same issue here. Users are unable to print unless they are given the "Manage Printers" permission on the 2335DN. This is completely unacceptable.
I do see that we still have UAC enabled on that server. When we are able to restart it, we may try disabling UAC and see if that solves the issue. However that still is not acceptible as we should not have to weaken the security of our server for the sake of a single model of Dell printer.

I actually switched to the Post Script driver and it took care of the problem. Good luck!
