Dell 2335dn Menu Lockout Setup option
I have a question regarding the Menu Lockout option of the Dell 2335dn printer. We have a couple of these printers in our district, and users would like to prevent unauthorized access to the copy function of the MFP. Obviously this Menu Lockout option would require users to input a passcode to be able to use the copy function. My questions are: if you put the passcode in to unlock it, will you have to input the passcode lock it again, or will it lock automatically once the user is done copying? Is there anything else I should know about this option? Thanks very much!

I do beleive that it will lock after scanning and make the next user enter the passcode.
I have a question as well that I hope someone can help me out with. We have a passcode set but noone knows what it is...eeeek.....anyway I spoke with Dell Chat and they suggested a firmware upgrade....I tried that but password still remained afterwards. Is there anything else that can be done? Please help! :):emotion-2:
