Dell 968w printer will not communicate with new wireless network

We recently had our internet service changed from Comcast to AT&T.  The tech set up a new wireless network and now my Dell 968w wireless printer will not recognize the new network nor communicate with my Delll inspiron laptop?  Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

MaryMcClain419,

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove stuck print job(s) from the queue, then restart your computer.

Make sure the printer is not usb cable connected.

Start, control panel, programs and features, your printer, uninstall.

Restart your computer.

Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

You'll now have to install the printer, choose new installation, network and follow the instructions. It will ask for your network and password, then follow the instructions.

Remember virus prorgams and firewalls will block communications.

Hi MaryMcClain419,

Welcome to the community.

In addition to what RockSt☆r-Rick K suggested, you need to add the printer to the new network at your place. So it would be better if you remove the printer completely and re install it.

Check this link below for removing the printer:

And then you can download the printer drivers from the link below:

If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us.
