Dell AIO 962 with Linksys Print Server does not work
I recently purchased a Dell All in One 962 in hopes of setting it up on the network by using a print server. I also purchased the linksys print server (psus4) for usb and 4 port switch. The linksys was easily configured and detected the printer as "Dell AIO 962"; however, nothing will ever print. I can not print a test page nor can I print the test page from the linksys web interface.
When using the dell configuration utility, I can get to the "Add network printer" and the ip address of the print server is never detected although you can ping it and access the web interface.
If you try to add the printer through "Add a printer" in windows, everything appears to be added correctly but you still can not print.
I've read several articles saying that you must use the Dell 3300 wireless print server to actually allow this to work. Is this true? I also read a post where someone could not get a netgear print server to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

There is no official support whatsoever regarding the 962 and print servers. Dell will not give you any, because there is none! The Dell 3300 Wireless Network Adapter is your ONLY option for what you are trying to do. W/O that, you are basically on your own. If you tried it on the Hawking and it didn't work, chances are it's not going to ever work. You're lucky in the sense that you are using the 962 and it's one of the models that actually supports the Dell 3300 Adapter, so you have that as an option. There have been quite a few posts from other models and print servers, and I have seen very few (if any) true success stories. Sorry! If you do find a way to make it work, be sure to let us know…
