Dell C1760nw - Toner Saver
I've recently purchased a Dell C1760nw Printer to replace my old Dell 1250c.
One of the first things I did, was to enable the Toner Saver
(Printing Preferences > Others > Advanced Settings > Document Options > Image Options > Toner Saver)
I had always had this feature enabled as a default when using my 1250c, so I was shocked to see what the C1760nw produced with this option enabled! You can barely make anything out!
It's like a photocopy, of a photocopy, of something lightly drawn in fine pencil!?
Is there any way to make this feature useable?

I've currently resolved this by instructing my computer to use the Drivers for the Dell 1250c which I already had installed (Control Panel>Devices&Printers>Right-Click Printer>Printer Properties>Advanced>Drop-Down menu), and then enabling the Toner Saver option available in the 1250c Drivers.
I'm sure this will result in some loss of functionality, but it is completely reversable should there be a function in the C1760nw Drivers which I require that is not available in the 1250c Drivers.
I doubt I will ever know about the functionality I am losing however, as I would much rather save money on Toner!
Shameful move on Dell's part for nerfing this Economical and Ecological feature in their newer models!
My cynical nature can't help but assume that this was done in an effort to sell more Toner.
Bad news, Dell - I don't buy my Toner from you anyway!

Sadly, my disregard for the loss of functionality may have been somewhat premature.
Something as simple as the ability to print in Landscape is lost using the 1250c Drivers with the C1760nw.
If anyone knows of a more practical solution to allow the use of reasonable Toner Saver whilst still using the correct C1760nw Drivers, please do let me know!

In addition to this post, I also contacted Dell directly.
I have received absolutely no response in either instance, save for being sent a Survey on my experience asking for help.
Needless to say, it was easy to mark considering I've had absolutely no acknowledgement, nevermind anything regarding a solution.
To deliberately Nerf a feature which would save both money and resources is utterly shameful. Definitely the last time I buy Dell after this experience and silence.
