Error 1068, Print Spooler Service not running

have you checked in the registry sounds like it make have been removed from there if it is not showing up......you may want to do a REPAIR install to do this you would need the os cd/dvd, boot to it, when the system ask what you want to do go on with a install there should be a repair option here.

How about this, try to manually restart your print spooler. under the command promt (CMD).

You must run CMD as an administrator. (right click on CMD/ Run as Administrator)

1.net stop spooler
2.sc config spooler depend= RPCSS start= Auto
3.net start spooler
