Ink issue with Dell 2135n

The printer in my office is a Dell 2135n. Despite frequent paper jams it hasn't been much of an problem. In fact the paper jams don't bother me much.

But, the printer now claims it's out of Yellow ink. The last thing it printed which was yellow, was bright and vibrant so I'm sure it has a bit left. Usually I'm used to printers trying to print even if they are low, to the point the image might look atrocious, but I appreciate the effort.

Either way I need to print tons of black and white stuff, and you'd think this wouldn't be a problem, but you'd be wrong. The printer being short on it's Yellow cartridge won't print anything. Now I'm sure Dell wouldn't do something like this on purpose, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I imagine there is a solution to my problem that doesn't involve ordering a $100+ yellow cartridge from Dell. I want to know what this solution is so I don't have to run around printing at other printers in my building.

The solution also better not be buy the cartridge, because I'd sooner light this printer a flame than shell out $100 for a yellow cartridge so I can print in black and white.
