PINCH ME! Dell Outlet 922 Printers

The price of a refurbished 922 all-in-one is listed at only NINETEEN DOLLARS on Dell Outlet! This, according to the BROCHURE, INCLUDES a "high capacity" black ink cartride AND a "high capacity" color ink cartridge. (whatever those are......)

Can this be true? If so, I can save a LOT of money by just buying the ENTIRE refurbished 922 as opposed to paying $29.95 for just a STANDARD capacity black ink cartridge!

What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance!

The reason this looks too good to be true is because it isn't. There are no 922 in stock, so when you click on 922 it really sends you to what they do have in stock which are 720, the same ones they give away new for free. The only other inkjet printers which are available at this time are 962 which are quite a bit higher.

THANKS! Like anything else that looks like it is too good to be true, it in NOT true.........

One last question........I can buy the 720 printer (refurbished) for $19.99 (plus shipping) AND it is SUPPOSED to have a standard black and color ink Cartridge. This is STILL cheaper (I think)than buying the standard black ink and color cartridge at the Dell website. What am I missing here? I get two ink cartridges for less than I would pay on the main website alone, and Dell throws the printer in for nothing?

At least, that is what it looks like to me............

What is wrong with this picture?

Thanks in advance................

I have a 922 which I love. All of the Dell printer models ending in 2 have extended capacity flat top ink carts which are very easy to refill for $2.50 each fill. All models ending in 0 have high top low capacity ink carts which are difficult to refill.

I think shipping on Dell printers is about $29.00 so that does cut down on the good deal a little. Then the total price might be abiut the same as 2 carts. Maybe even a little more.
And you can only buy ink carts from Dell. But I see your point.

I have found good deals on new clearance color inkjet photo printers at Office Max, Office Depot, and Comp USA. Lexmarks, Compacs, Epsons, and others for as low as $29.00-$45.00. I just bought a new Canon MP130 color photo printer for my other computer for $34.00 with full ink carts. It even has photo card slots and several good photo printng programs. It prints beautiful color photos. And the black ink carts were on sale for $6.00 ea.

So If you hunt around you can find really good buys on really nice printers.
