S3845cdn, no Mac High Sierra scanner driver

How can Dell sell a $1000+ machine that can't scan if you use a Mac?

Simple.

First, don't make a driver for Mac's High Sierra OS.

Second, have your tech"support" people tell you that you need to buy Pro Support at extra cost to get support - which isn't available for this machine. Frustrating for buyers, but effective.

Third, ignore the Mac users who can't return this boat anchor.

This Apple driver we released on 12/1/16 did not support Mac OSx 10.13 High Sierra =
10.6 Snow Leopard
10.7 Lion (Barolo)
10.8 Mountain Lion (Zinfandel)
10.9 Mavericks (Cabernet)
10.10 Yosemite (Syrah)
10.11 El Capitan (Gala)

But, this Apple driver we released on 1/4/17 does support Mac OSx 10.13 High Sierra =
10.6 Snow Leopard
10.7 Lion (Barolo)
10.8 Mountain Lion (Zinfandel)
10.9 Mavericks (Cabernet)
10.10 Yosemite (Syrah)
10.11 El Capitan (Gala)
10.12 Sierra (Fuji)
10.13 High Sierra

There are 30 references to Apple in the S3845cdn User's Guide. Page 229 discusses, "Scanning via AirPrint".

Returns of Dell product can only be done inside the first 30 days from the Dell invoice date.

Chris, the PRINTER driver you sent does not address the SCANNER function. The is STILL NO MAC HIGH SIERRA SCANNER DRIVER available from Dell, nor is there any information on when one will be released.

As far as scanning is concerned, the Dell s3845cdn is still an expensive boat anchor.
