Setup guide on how to configure the Scan to Computer function for the Dell Laser Printer 3115cn

I need a comprehensive setup guide on how to configure the "Scan to Computer". I have the book and those instructions are vague. I guess what I am looking for is a more illustrative guide than these instructions. Someone in the forums mentioned that such a guide did exist, but now seems to be lost. So far I have wasted half a day messing with this trying different combinations but can't seem to get there. Please help, anyone.
