Each time I maintenance or repair one of my 5100cn printers I take down the page count- or at least I think it's the page count. Recently I've set up a system that keeps track of the supply life left in our printers, and I've been using the online printer settings tool to take a tally each morning.

 

When I take the tally, I'm using the number listed under Print Volume from the online tool. However, when I service the printers, I print out the printer settings and have been writing down the number listed under total impressions. These numbers are not the same, and I can't seem to reconcile the discrepancy. What's the difference between Total Impressions and Print Volume, and which one is the true page count? I need to adjust my tracking stats to keep some consistency.
