Will AIO 924 work with a new iMAC?
I have it connected, and the new iMac detects it, but also wants to "add a printer" as this is the first printer. I don't know how to add a new printer to an iMac and I'm not sure a Dell 924 will work with an iMac.
Any advice for that question?

Dell does not have Mac drivers for this printer, that I know of. Your Dell Printer was made for Dell by Lexmark. If you find a similar printer, the drivers may or may not work.
Also try Gutenprint for Mac OS X
