connecting Dell printer to my Imac
Hi can anyone help me with my query or point me in the right direction. trying to connect my dell V305 all-in one printer by USB connection to my recently purchased iMac computer (27 inch late 2013) processor 3.2 Ghz Intel core i5, OS X Yosemite, Version 10.10.1. When I go into system preferences to add printer, it shows that its connected. but in the choose a driver section it says that the software for this printer isn't available from apple. how would I go about getting the right software so i can use my printer?? Thanks in advance Una

cheekyuna,
Unfortunately, Dell does not have a Mac OS driver or software for this printer.

cheekyuna,
Your printer was made for Dell by Lexmark. There is a chance that Lexmark drivers from a similar model may work.
Just a wild guess but you may want to try (Mac Os X 10.7 Lion Driver)(Lexmark S300-S400 Series) and see if this works.
