e310dw printer macOS 10.13 High Sierra compatibility
Can anyone tell me if the e310dw printer will work in macOS 10.13 High Sierra? It works great in Sierra, but the drivers haven't been updated in over a year.
Thanks anyone who can answer this.

Robert, thank you for your response.
I am asking specifically about e310dw compatibility with Apple's newest version of OS X, 10.13, aka High Sierra.
Thank you.

NO: Dell does not have a driver for High Sierra. I know first-hand because I just purchased this machine in September and have wasted countless hours with Dell "support" and spent $150 in outside tech support, only to find that there is no driver, and Dell has no information on whether it when or if it will be released.

I believe you Scot. I haven't upgraded yet from Sierra, and glad I haven't. It's amazing how a Dell employee says yes, yet your experience says no.
Robert P....what the heck is going on?

I guess they're not bothered. The installer doesn't run of High Sierra. I do currently have the printer working although I upgraded from Sierra. I have an issue where the printer runs out of memory when large documents are sent; so even the old driver isn't great.

I just checked the dell.com support website. MacOS driver for E310 does state support for MacOS 10.13.

Hey, I'm legit curious... the link you posted is for the e525w. Is that also compatible with the e310dw, even though it's not listed? Or was that an oversight (which happens! Nbd!)?

JustPrint,
The driver link you posted is for E525w Dell Color Multifunction Printer. That will not work for E310dw printer.
Just follow the work around on how to install the existing driver in HS I posted earlier.

It appears that the driver is 32bit, with it crashing during install provided the hint.
The simple solution is to enable “Open in 32-bit mode” on both the “wireless device setup” and “starthereosx” driver installer apps.
You should now be able to install the driver.
Edited: it appears this workaround might still work in Mojave.
