How to make the degree mark/character in Word 2003?
I don't know how to make the degree mark or character in MS word 2003...does anyone know? And can I also make it in Outlook email?

In Word type lower case "o" then select it and go to Format|Font and check "Superscript." If you are using Word as your message drafting application in Outlook the degree symbol will work there as well.

but if you set Outlook to use MS Word as your Email
editor, then you can do anything you want as you will
compose your email in Word

Since you have a need to insert the character in both Word and Outlook, consider the following.
1. Turn Numlock on
2. Use the numeric keypad and enter 0176 while holding the ALT key down.
