WinDVD or PowerDVD?

Does anyone know if is bundling the DVD software from Intervideo, which is WinDVD, or from Cyberlink (PowerDVD)? I heard they aren't using WinDVD any more, and just using PowerDVD.

Like some others I have installed W2003 (Precision M70). And found unhappy with Cyberlink PowerDvd which does not recognize it as a Dell ...

It is not for gaming, please Dell support us better with W2003 : the whole driver's CD is useless because of OS version control (selfblocking).

WINDVD works better for me than Cyberlink Power DVD.

With WINDVD more of my dvd's actually play.

When I had Power dvd 4 it would hang on some dvds without any errors.

I use PowerDVD 6.0 with the Mobile Mobility Pack option and I love it. I haven't found anything it won't play. I upgraded to PowerDVD 7.0 but less than a week later demanded my money back and got it without any problem. PowerDVD 7 took up too much screen real estate and you could only make it so small before you couldn't reduce it any further. Version 6.0 has separate player controls and you can make the actual video screen as small as you want to.

I tried WinDVD but wasn't really impressed.

My opinion for what it's worth.
