Hi everyone!
I am an IT Project Manager with the EMC Proven Professional Associate certification. Currently I'm working on a short-term contract for a small marketing project outside of Boston, but would like to find something more permanent where I could use my skills to their full potential and would love especially to get back into EMC.
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
We're glad to welcome you to the community, and to hear that you are an EMC Proven Professional. This is a great place to connect, meet your peers, and develop some professional relationships. We don't, though, use the community to either post jobs or to post resumes / interest in jobs.
We do provide some great resources that you can use, blogs and other spaces where you might be able to initiate some discussion and make contacts that may help in a job search.

OK James, you got me at the creme brulee! That sounds wonderful.....
Have you considered getting involved in our EMC Proven Professional Knoweldge Sharing Competition? Although the creme brulee recipe might not fit the bill :-)
you have so much experience that you could share.
Just look at the Proven Professional home page, and you'll see the Knowledge Sharing announcement. Get involved, share what you know, and who knows...maybe win a prize!

Hi Michelle,
I am a former EMC employee (Prof Services PM) and obtained my EMC Proven Professional Associate certification during Boot Camp. I worked for an EMC partner after EMC and am now hoping my Proven certification will aid me in my current job search. It does seem that prospective employers are attracted to the Proven cert, but in this economy it's still tough! I love that EMC Proven is sort of like an extended family where everyone comes together to help each other and answer questions. I'm proud to be a member!

Hi Kevin,
You know, prospective employers look for lots of things when hiring. Being certified is certainly an advantage, but have you though of publishing a Knowledge Sharing article? That would add "published author' to your list of credentials in a competitive market.
Please see the Proven Professional Community homepage to learn how easy it is to start the process. All you need is a great idea, a case study, or a technical experience that you want to share with others. If your abstract and article are accepted, you'll be a published author!!!!!
Let me know if you decide you're in. Just submit the form on the home page to get started.
