I'm currently a Clariion Associate but I'm gunning for my Implementation Specialist right now.

I work for a service provider (Unisys subby) in Adelaide South Australia so I work with many of the customers down here. I also look after our own little CX-300 and AX4-5 in my spare time

I'm heavily into BURA too particularly Symantec and CommVault until I can convince a client to buy into Avamar or Recoverpoint

I'm hoping to find some cluey folks around here that I can talk storage with !

CommVault is ok. What version are you running ? I'm dealing with Version 8 SP4 every day and when it's running it's good to work with.

What about Avamar as a service ? That's what we do !

We took a hard look at Avamar but it just didnt fit the scale and costs required for the taget market. I'm in the second smallest state capital in Australia so there arent many larger businesses who want such a service. We target small businesses who cant manage their own IT themselves or want to get rid of the hassle of changing backup tapes daily.

CommVault came to the party with a unique licensing model for us which made it much easier to get the system up and running with relatively low initial expenditure.
