If I were going to buy some cagenuts for Dell equipment I would purchase the 10-32 size.  RackSolutions carries three sizes: 10-32, 12-24, and M6. 

 

The square hole is an industry standard size of 0.375" x 0.375".  Cagenuts that meet this standard will fit in the square hole.  The only option is the thread size.
