In order to convert the drives over to cabled you would need the cable shown below, part number P459G. 

I don't see that the cable you provided the link for will work, but you could try if you like.

Hi Chris, I tried to install my hard disks using the cable that you suggested me connecting the disks directly to the mainboard, but unfortunately the server shows the following message: SATA Port A Device not found, the same error por SATA Port B. Then I tried to enable de SATA Ports on Bios but also the disks doesn't work with sata ports enabled.

Also I'd like to tell you that I bought a SAS6 IR raid controller card because my disks are working in RAID0. Is it neccesary to remove the raid configuration to test if my server can recognize my disk without using a raid controller ?

Note: I don't care if I can't use my raid controller I want only use the network card x4GE.
