OMSA will simply display the results of the system query it does. If it is displaying incorrectly the first thing I would ask is if the motherboard was replaced, and if so was it replaced with the correct motherboard or was the svc tag correctly entered after it was replaced?
If the OS is Windows you can run the following command WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER and then compare the displayed svc tag to that on the servers sticker.
