Dell R530 unable to expand RAID5 array

I am unable to expand the RAID5 array on Dell R530 ( qty 3 - 4TB Dell Disks)

I have added qty 1 - 4 TB Seagate EXOS disk and set the new disk as RAID capable disk but do not see the 'reconfigure' option as described in the various posts and manuals.

The existing RAID5 currently has two Virtual Disks on it:

1) 10GB - OS (ESXi)

2) 7.89TB - Datastores for ESXi

Is the fact that there are two VDs on the RAID5 the reason I cannot add a 4TB disk to the RAID5 array?

If I were to remove the first VD (10GB) from the RAID5 array, would this solve the issue?

Please advise

"Is the fact that there are two VDs on the RAID5 the reason I cannot add a 4TB disk to the RAID5 array?"

Yes. Preferred option is not to create a new/small VD on the disks, but to install ESXi to USB/SD or a separate smaller disk.

I SUSPECT that deleting the first VD will let you expand it ... I KNOW that deleting the second VD will allow you to expand the array, but I don't know if there are limitations (similar to diskpart with partition order) to where the VD's sit and the ability to expand.

How can one tell the order (1st VD, 2nd VD, etc) in OpenManage? (or iDrac?)
