KVM 71PXP Firmware Upgrade
Hi, We've had some difficulties using our KVM switch in our data center, it's a 71PXP. I went to put the new firmware on the device but it appears some smart person has gone and put the Avocent 180ES firmware on it so now when we run the A03 upgrade it does not recognize it being as a 71PXP and won't perform the upgrade. I've tried all versions including A00 but have had no luck. Any assistance would be appreciated as I don't really want to go out and replace this single switch as it run's some legacy equipment that we wish to keep (and don't really want to spend the money to do so anyhow. You found the newest firmware? I just purchased this KVM from e-Bay and would like to install it before I connect it to my servers.

why not just update it with the newest Dell/Avocent firmware?
