Maximum supported disk size for PERC 200 in a R815?
Seagate have recently launched a range of 2.5" hard disks with capacities of 3, 4 and 5 TB. These are known to work in a Dell R740 fitted with a PERC H740P controller but would they work in a R815 fitted with a H200 controller?

Hello
The H200 does support drive sizes larger than 2TB. If it is not a validated drive then I can't say with any certainty whether or not it will work. Here is a KB article with information about the 2TB threshold on drive sizes.

Thanks

Thank you for your prompt reply, we will try installing a 5 TB disk into one of our R815's and will report back if there are any problems.
